Final Class Tuesday! Journal Wrap Up Instructions!    Posted: Nov 20, 2005
Dear FYS Class:

Hooray! You have reached the end! Tuesday is the last FYS class and your final journal project is now due!

If you have been passing your assignments in all along you task now is simple: Put your journals together in order, make a great looking cover page, and hand them all in. If you missed one or two, you may make them up now for part credit. It is much better for your grade than getting a "0!" Some I have still have. I'll add them to your portfolio myself to save you time after class.

Several of you have to hand them all in. Remember this is for 30% of your grade (the rest was for attendance and participation)! Make up all the missing assignments and hand them in when you come to class Tuesday. There will be a grade penalty, but it is far better than getting a zero!

Some of you who have not attended or handed in material have asked what happens if you fail this class. You will be required to re-take it in the Spring 2006 semester. You will not

Course Description
Description: 1 credit. Required of all entering students with fewer than 12 college credit hours. Provides a seminar-style environment promoting problem posing, discussion, experiential learning, and critical thinking methods addressing an annually chosen theme. Computer applications, study habits, time management and research methods are intro-duced.
