No Class Thrusday. Tuesday: Paper Reading During Class!
Posted: Nov 14, 2005
Use Thursday's class time to finish your coin project (remember the best book to use is on reserve in the library for you!) or complete your research papers! Tuesday's class will be a reading of my paper (in whatever stage of completion it is in!). Feel free to invite a friend! The topic covers both Roman social history and early church social history.

Course Description
This course explores the history and culture of Greece and Rome and the early history of the Christian church. While lectures and readings are major components of this course, each week we will participate in exploring ancient history and archaeology in a direct hands-on manner. This will be done through artifact restoration and identification, discussion of historical problems, research, and a trip to view the Roman and Greek collections of the Fine Arts Museum of Boston.
